Reading with your children

Quality children’s literature at the heart of all learning. The Centre for Literacy in Primary Education (CLPE) is an independent UK charity with a global reputation for quality research into literacy and teaching. The Core Book List that they produce is now an online resource. This list is a comprehensive selection of high quality texts for children from ages three to eleven. Using the easy search function or ready-created booklists teachers, schools and parents can view titles by age range, collection, author or publisher and can even create personalised wishlists of books.
